Homes sort at least hazardous waste, electrical and electronic equipment, metals, glass packaging, cartonboard and paper. Residents may also sort plastic packaging.
Biowaste is also collected from housing associations. We recommend that detached houses compost their food waste.
Waste remaining after sorting is classified as final waste.
